When I first wrote “Hurt Di Innocent”, it was a total different song. I was living in New York at the time. But seven days before George Floyd death, I recorded it. Thanks to the Almighty for preserving me.
Honestly, I wrote the song as a reflection of the struggle JAH people have endure. I did change the chorus couple years ago but what a timing. For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south.-PSALMS 75 VERSES 6.
